Tree Checklist
What is this page?
I have a fascination with trees. Growing up, my elementary and middle school had a park directly adjacent with huge eucalyptus trees that loomed over the classrooms. They were beautiful and calming with their high branches swaying in the warm breeze. Sometimes the leaves looked like the reflection of the Sun on choppy water, sometimes the scale of a fish, sometimes confetti. I didn't really confront my love for trees until a trip I took with my roommates in college to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, where we visited the largest trees on Earth. The huge trees were inspiring enough for me to seek out the world's largest, tallest, and oldest trees in the world. This is a collection of the stories, maps, and photos used in order to find each of these trees, just for the sake of remembrance.
